Applying TrackWrap

  • Make sure to apply the film to a clean and dry surface, ideally one that has been waxed (but not necessary). NOTE: You may also apply on top of vinyl wrap and/or Paint Protection Film.
  • Begin from about the first 2 inches of the hood (between the headlights) down to the bottom of the front bumper.
  • To avoid bubbles, stick a small portion of the film to one side of the fender, then run the felt-tipped side of the applicator squeegee over the film as it falls/rolls over to the opposite direction. Repeat this process as you work your way down the front of the car, overlapping the bottom edge.
  • If you need to fit the film around tricky areas, use a razor blade to cut access film (NEVER CUT DIRECTLY ON THE CAR).

Removing TrackWrap

  • Start removing the film from one side to the other. Because you may have overlapped the bottom edge of the film upon application, you can remove multiple layers with ease if you start from the bottom.
  • Remove the film slowly, pulling it as close to a 180-degree angle as possible. Avoid pulling the film up in a 90-degree angle.

Remember … it ain’t pretty, it’s Protective!
